Couple Regine Velasquez and Ogie Alcasid revealed to the public the gender of their first born child and said that it is a baby boy.
The announcement has been made by Regine and Ogie in the GMA variety show Party Pilipinas last July 3, 2011.
Regine went to the show to (–foul word(s) removed–)ist her husband Ogie who is sick that time, while the comedian singer is performing in the show for the segment OPM love songs together with other stars of GMA 7, Janno Gibbs Jolina Magdangal, Jennylyn Mercado, Glaiza de Castro and Janine Gutierrez, the songbird was sitting together with the audience watching the performance.
After the production, Janno and Ogie went down stair and asked regine how she is doing; the two were teasing the singer since she is shy to be seen in TV because she said she looks like a carabao.
At that moment the couple happily announces to the public that they will have a baby boy soon.
According to Ogie, it was last Saturday where they first found out the gender of their child after Regine undergo the ultrasound test. Ogie even joked that they saw an extension of their child which determined its gender.
When they were asked by Janno if what would be the name of their baby boy, Regine replied that she like the name Timothy Joseph, while Ogie said that it’s better if the name of their son is “JT” short for James Taylor.
The Asia’s songbird Regine Velasquez is now five months pregnant.
