Thia Megia was one of the top 20 finalists of American Idol Season 10. She was a one of the semi-finalists for this year’s edition of the famous reality show American Idol that have been instrumental for producing America’s greatest talents.
Thia Megia will join the top 24 semi-finalists which include 12 women and 12 men which will vie for the ultimate idol. On March 1, 2011 the semifinals will begin, with separate performance for men and women.
Thia Megia will try her best to impressed this year’s judges which includes the ever reliable Randy Jackson together with Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler the front man and lead singer of rock group Aerosmith.
Thia Megia was the final female admitted to the Final 24 of American Idol Season 10. She was a former reject of America’s Got Talent 2009 edition. She was born in Redwood City, California.

Naima Adedapo, Lauren Alaina, Kendra Chantrelle, Ashton Jones, Thia Megia, Haley Rinehart, Karen Rodriguez, Pia Toscano, Lauren Turner, Tatynisa Wilson, Rachel Zevita and Julie Zorrilla.
The top 12 men finalists were:
Casey Abrams, Jovany Barreto, Jordan Dorsey, James Durbin, Clint Jun Gamboa, Tim Halperin, Stefano Langone, Brett Loewenstern, Jacob Lusk, Scotty McCreery, Paul McDonald and Robbie Rosen.
