When Steve Jobs finally left Apple on Wednesday, many people questioned about who would take over his position. Jobs resigned due to some health problems. It was reported that Jobs had a pancreatic cancer. Few months ago, Steve Jobs filed a leave of absence to undergo some operations.

Steve Jobs is the co-founder of the Apple Company. He used to handle big responsibilities being the Apple’s CEO. However, his health tells him that he can no longer magnify all of his duties.

Following Jobs’ resignation, the technology giant declared a new Chief Executive Officer to continue Apple’s growing business.

On Steve Jobs recommendation letter, he was able to mention whom he recommended to take over his position. Now that Steve Jobs gave up his position, it was revealed that he suggested the Apple’s Chief Operating Officer to replace him.

Thus, the new CEO of Apple is Tim Cook.

As a recall, Cook was noted to do some duties of Steve Jobs whenever this former Apple CEO wasn’t around for medical reasons few years earlier.

Cook was in-charge of Apple’s sales and operations worldwide. He was also responsible in overseeing major activities such as in the services and sales in many countries as what Apple have stated.

Now, it’s official. The 50-years-old Tim Cook who was known to be the former Chief Operating Officer of Apple Company becomes their present Chief Executive Officer.

Cook was noted to join Apple in 1998 and was (–foul word(s) removed–)igned to be the company’s senior vice president of Operations. He was then promoted as the Apple COO in 2005.

Cook was born in Alabama. He took engineering at Auburn University and it was in Duke University that he had finished his MBA.
