What’s next for Miss Universe 2011 3rd runner-up Shamcey Supsup?
After her successful journey for the 60th Miss Universe pageant held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Shamcey Supsup was back in the Philippines and was then set to follow her heavy schedule.
Upon arriving at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Sunday evening, Shamcey had to meet the Philippine President Noynoy Aquino at the VIP area for her courtesy call, then she had her press conference.
The following day, Monday, Shamcey had her motorcade all through-out the metro where she visited her Alma Mater, the University of the Philippines as she was also given an award, she also went to Makati and Cainta.
Shamcey was indeed earning the fruit of her labor and one of them was popularity.
However, on several reports published, it seemed that the Beauty Queen was not interested in pursuing a showbiz career instead she found herself to pursue her field, architecture.
Shamcey, as what people knew was a Magna Cumlaude from the University of the Philippines when she took up Architecture. Furthermore, she also topped the 2010 Architecture Licensure Examination.
As result to her exemplary skills in her field, several organizations and company were giving Shamcey more opportunity to show her skills.
Report from mb.com said that the Department of Transportation and Communication had offered Shamcey the opportunity to be part of the team who would be in-charge to create the design for renovation of the NAIA Terminal 1.
At the same time, she was also being appointed to be the consultant of Araneta Center’s Building.
And for good cause, Gawad Kalinga and Shamcey were already negotiating for the purpose of building again the dreams of typhoon Ondoy victims through the construction of houses.
As of press time, Shamcey Supsup was already in General Santos and she was warmthly welcomed by her fellowmen. But what made her even excited was the fact that she would be reunited to her father whom she was not able to see for weeks already due to her preparation for the Miss Universe.
With what she had, and with she had achieved, it would no longer be a question if Shamcey Supsup would choose to practice her profession and to engage herself in charity works than trying her fate in the colorful and glittering showbiz world.
To recall, Shamcey Supsup became a household name after she won the Bb. Pilipinas- Universe crown.
Then, she became one of names in the Miss Universe 2011 after she had been consistently topping the various online poll for the People’s choice like in Telemundo.
At the end, she landed 3rd runner-up as the crown was took by the Angolan Beauty Leila Lopes.
