Facebook Rival “Google+” Opens Worldwide

Social network is one of the most influential tools to connect people nowadays. While Facebook and Twitter users continue to grow, Google being a technology giant also keeps on finding ways to match this kind of trend among internet users.

Google+ is now open for users worldwide.

On Tuesday, Google formally announces that its own social network called Google+ is ready to be Facebook’s counterpart.

Google’s Vic Gundotra, the Senior Vice President of Engineering, posted in a blog saying that their 12 weeks trial brought them further learning and analysis for the said social site.

Gundotra added that Google+ project has been improved and is set to be ready to conquer the world of social media.

The improved Google+ will also possess significant social media features like the “Hangouts On Air” where its users will be able to enjoy group video-chats. According to BBC, many have been praising Google because of its “Hang-outs” feature.

There were at least 10 million Google+ users that were drawn after the 2 and a half weeks of thorough observations.Google+ dragged 18 million users   as early as  July 21.

Then after a month since Google+ have been launched, a total of 25 million users have been gathered as reported by the BBC.

However, 89n published a survey that illustrates the declining average of public posts made by Google+ users per day.

Further reports tell that the Google+ multi-person feature is being favoured by many Android smartphones users which allow them to chat in groups where content sharing is easier and faster.

On the other hand, Facebook users have experienced a lot of added features on the site these past few weeks. Improvements were faster and more features have been embedded to hold their users worldwide.

Google+ and Facebook are now considered to be rivals of being a social network tool. Google’s latest innovation proves that uncovering bigger projects are possible to be able to deal with web users expectations.
