Juan Manuel Marquez: Willing to fight Donaire in 2012

Juan Manuel MarquezThey are just excited.

Boxers are just too hot just like what Mayweather’s camp did before his fight to Ortiz last September 17, wherein his camp had been eyeing and planning to seek for another possible name to fight for, Mexican professional boxer Juan Manuel Marquez had expressed according to the report published via abs-cbnnews.com, his interest to have a match versus the rising Filipino boxer Nonito “The Filipino Flash” Donaire by 2012.

Both Donaire and Marquez are set to have big fights this year.

Juan Manuel Marquez, for the third time will be exchanging mighty fists against the reigning pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao who had been holding eight world title belt this November 12 in Las Vegas.

Meanwhile, Nonito Donaire will be facing the undefeated Argentine Boxer Omar Andres Narvaez at the Madison Square Gardeb WaMu Theater in New York on October 22. The mentioned venue was coined to be “The Mecca of Boxing”. It was called as the Mecca of Boxing due to the record that it had been the venue for big title fights such that of Muhammad Ali’s bout for the Heavyweight Title in 1971.

Donaire, is currently ranked as the number 4 pound-for-pound fighter in the world.

At age 28, Donaire is seen to be the next Manny Pacquiao.

With the success that he had been reaping and the kind of performance that he had been showing in the ring, it could not be questioned why many boxers like Juan Manuel Marquez would chose to meet and to fight him.

Marquez had expressed his willingness to meet Donaire in the 126 pounds by next year.

This could also be an answer to the revelation said by Donaire that his fight for the Bantamweight Title against Omar Ortiz would be his last fight for the 118 pounds as he is planning to climb for a much heavier weight division.

Donaire vs. Marquez? Why not!
