The American Idol judges were not yet finalized, according to the latest buzz in the entertainment industry, Mariah Carey is in serious talks to join the American Idol panel of judges.
According to an insider working for the People Magazine, the singer was offered by the reality search singing competition an amount which is worth enough for her capability as one of the world’s music icon.
American Idol producers FOX is offering Mariah Carey more than $15 Million which is equivalent to the offer given to Britney Spears by the rival “The X Factor.”
The news of finding a suitable replacement for American Idol Judge Steven Tyler came after the confirmation of Tyler to quit which was followed by Jennifer Lopez exit as well.
The 42-year-old Mariah Carey is an able replacement but the show’s producers were still in doubt if the singer could provide the same charisma with the two previous American Idol judges.
Another suggestion is for Fox to acquire Adam Lambert, to join Randy Jackson on the panel. People magazine only stated that Mariah Carey is “in serious talks” with the American Idol producers.
