Randy Jackson Speaks on Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler’s Exit

Randy Jackson finally speak regarding the exit of the two most influential figures in American Idol. The singer won’t sever ties to Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez.

The former singer was even quoted as saying that “Steven and Jennifer are truly two of the most talented and consummate professionals I’ve worked with,” Jackson said.

The 56-year-old American Idol judge was the only remaining original judge since it’s inception, 11 years ago.

Jennifer Lopez, 42, confirmed her much-anticipated exit through Ryan Seacrest show on his KIIS-FM radio show. She followed the departure of the 64-year-old Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler.

Recent reports surfaced that the American Idol judge will no longer seat at the American Idol Judges panel but he will change his role from a judge into a mentor leaving behind Ryan Seacrest as the lone surviving American Idol originals.

There were already reports that one of the most prominent prospects as one of the American Idol judge was Mariah Carey which was in serious talks with FOX.
